Pediatric Orthopedics / Pediatric Sports Medicine
Children and teens have different health care needs than adults. They are growing and changing so they require specialized care from providers who understand how their bones, joints, and muscles develop and change over time. They also need providers who understand the other aspects of sports medicine for young athletes, like concussions. When you choose 360 Physical therapy for your child’s care, you are choosing a sports physical therapy team dedicated to providing the support and healing your child needs to recover quickly and perform their best. You can count on us to consider your child’s long-term health and provide you with a treatment plan that is appropriate for their stage of development and your family’s needs. Our physical therapists are specialty trained in sports therapy and we work collaboratively with high school and collegiate athletic trainers, youth and club coaches, parents and families, to help young athletes recover and make a safe return to play while optimizing performance and preventing re-injury. We treat patients starting at 6 years of age and we pride ourselves on ease of access, convenience, quality of care, and a positive family-friendly environment. At physical therapy appointments, we encourage patients to wear comfortable clothing that will allow them to move freely and that allows the therapist access to the injured body part. Most patients wear athletic clothes to the appointments.
