Wendy Wood

PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy - AT Still University

Wendy’s passion for physical therapy was harnessed from her interest in health professions. She originally considered nursing but found the opportunity to treat patients with orthopedic conditions or prevent such injuries more interesting. She specializes in ASTYM technique, dry needling, geriatrics, post-op rehabilitation, and postural restoration. Wendy specifically enjoys treating spine, shoulder, hip, and knee injuries. Her experience in gymnastics and treating friends and family makes her a well-rounded physical therapist who can treat children to seniors with an array of injuries. Wendy would like to further her education in golf related injuries and Selective Functional Movement Assessments. When Wendy is not treating patients, she enjoys physical activities that allow her to spend time outside in the beautiful Arizona sunshine, such as tennis, hiking, yoga, and cheering on her nephews at their sporting events.

"You treat a disease...you win, you lose. You treat a person, I guarantee you, you'll win … no matter what the outcome." ~ Patch Adams
