As a native of Nebraska, Michaela has recently traded cornfields for cacti. She completed her Physical Therapist Assistant degree at Pima Medical Institute in 2020. Her love for teaching people the magic of movement, as it relates to rehab and helping people prevent future injuries, influenced her to choose physical therapy as a profession. She specializes in a variety of services such as, aquatic therapy, geriatrics, post-op rehabilitation, and stroke/neuro rehabilitation. Michaela especially enjoys treating orthopedic, stroke, and Parkinson’s injuries. She is currently in the process of seeking certification in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT BIG), Graston technique, and cupping. In her personal time, Michaela enjoys CrossFit, hiking, paddle boarding, watching sports, and playing with her dog Carl.
