James has been an athlete his whole life. He was a football player and wrestler in high school. Currently, he enjoys mountain biking and Jiujitsu. James has always been fascinated by the way things work, that’s why he became an engineer. He loved the science of engineering, but something was missing in his career. James found that “missing something” during his first introduction to Physical Therapy while dealing with an injury. The biomechanics of Physical Therapy reminded him of engineering. He is, also, a very personable guy who loves working with people. A lot of times, engineering was a solo job. James then went to Pima Medical Institute to earn his Physical Therapy Assistant degree. Now, he has the best of both worlds: engineering and helping people! James’s experience in sports and being an older person who has dealt with the same issues helps him to better treat patient who are runners, cyclists, martial artists, or that are mid-late age.
