Pregnancy / Postpartum

30-50% of women experience some form of low back or pelvic pain during their pregnancy. 360 therapists receive special training through the Women’s Health APTA section to work with this unique population. Therapists address the musculoskeletal changes occurring during pregnancy & postpartum periods in order to provide pain relief and optimize function.

Symptoms may include:

  • Buttocks or hip pain
  • Pubic or groin pain
  • Tailbone pain
  • Pain when changing positions
  • Popping or clicking joints
  • Back pain or diastasis recti

Treatment may include: Manual therapy, stabilizing and mobility exercises, aquatic exercises and patient education for proper posture, including laboring and breastfeeding positions.
